Agarwood Incense

$19.00

With over 15,000 temples throughout the island, Taiwan is known to have the highest density of temples in the world. It is little wonder that you will be enveloped in wafts of fragrant incense smoke when you stroll through the alleys, streets or country roads of Taiwan. While incense is predominantly used in prayer and ritual, these shorter and coreless sticks are popular for use in homes for meditation, relaxation, and stress reduction.

Only a handful of traditional incense producers remain in Taiwan, and they continue to practice this age-old craft with the same labor intensive process inherited from their elders. Depending on availability, the agarwood used is sourced from either India or Vietnam and no artificial dyes or fillers are used. Less assertive than sandalwood, the delicate yet complex scent of agarwood is mostly woody with occasional notes of bright fruits and soft florals.

Each tube includes 40 sticks

Burn Time: 30 minutes

Made in Kaohsiung, Taiwan
